The blog is rise from the deep of ocean to tell the tale about love story between a lighthouse keeper and noble woman. I will state it at front, this is the best movie from DCEU, so far. James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) is Genius. The beauty of the cinematography, the score is perfect for most situation, good fighting choreography, spot on joke and Amber "Red-head" Heard will sum it all. If I can describe the movie with one word, it would be Beautiful. This movie serve as origin story of Aquaman, portrait by Jason Momoa (the one and only khal drogo), no more blonde Aquaman like on the comics this is the bad ass Aquaman. As origin story, even compare to MCU movies only Iron Man and Black Panther origins can stood against it and from DC Wonder Woman is the closest but still below this. So, will it be the perfect movie? of course no, the movie still have some plot hole or questionable moment, I am not gonna spoiler it out, Kidman is one of them. And for the closing, they have the best kiss scene on superhero movies since Spiderman, yeah the Toby and Durst kisses upside down. The 3D effect is nice and use of color tone is more enjoyable if you see it on the biggest screen in your town, me watching on IMAX 3D. This movie like a fresh start of DCEU after their unexpected low rate movies before.
