Posted in , Edit

A judas strain is an organism that drives a species to extinction. From the Indian Ocean depths, an ancient menace plagues the modern world. Hope hides "within the language of angels." Aboard a cruise liner cum makeshift hospital, Dr Lisa Cummings and Monk Kokkalis, SIGMA agents, seek answers. But terrorists hijack the mercy ship for a floating bio-weapons lab.

4 July party a world away. SIGMA commander Gray Pierce thwarts an assassin who holds the first clue to a cure. He joins with her to follow the trail of Marco Polo. The quest winds through Venetian tombs, Byzantine cathedrals, and jungle-encrusted ruins. A relentless madman dogs every step. As seconds tick closer to doomsday, Pierce can trust no one. Any could be a Judas.
GOODREADS

I read this book with high expectation consider the series I already read and I must say i was disappointed by the story. The mystery, riddle or high-tech equipment is still there what is lack is pace of story. The story is so boring specially in Lisa and Monk side, to much technical term and for casual reader it maybe will stop them to read, i do stop several time when this segment came. Story getting better in the last third part, when the story near the end. Oh yeah, there's no twist ending in this book the only moment that importance in end of the book it's just true or false info which mean need more story to cover with it.

I'm a fan of Rollins book but sorry for this book I only give 2.7 from 5
Hope it's better in the next books.
