MOVIE REVIEW - THE IMITATION GAME

Posted in  Edit

Based on the real life story of legendary cryptanalyst Alan Turing, the film portrays the nail-biting race against time by Turing and his brilliant team of code-breakers at Britain's top-secret Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park, during the darkest days of World War II. (IMDB)

Mr. Cumberbatch is shine in his role. He really become central point in this movie, he can brings Turing self-center character to live. Movie it self was great adventure for me, has back and forth plot but didn't made viewer confused. For the acting department, other beside Cumberbatch also give nice performance. My appreciation was given for Hugh (Matthew Goode) to bring the character from hate guy to likeable person. I little disappointed with Keira Knightley here, when her name came in Oscar shortlist I expected she played unusual character from before but it didn't happen, it doesn't mean she have bad performance she is still good here by the way. This movie is a Oscar material it deserve the nomination, it will give us a pleasure moment after we watch it and like other good movies it will make you to search a background story behind. I bet you will open your google and type Alan Turing in the search box shortly after. Don't miss this movie, especially for Cumberbatch fan girls :D.
